Legacy Project

The Legacy Project is a meaningful initiative created to document, preserve, and share the stories of Black nurses whose leadership, service, and advocacy helped shape the Black Nurses Association of the Greater Washington, DC Area and the communities it serves.

Through interviews and storytelling, this project honors the voices of founders, pioneers, and influential members whose contributions continue to inspire future generations of nurses, leaders, and community advocates.

As the project continues to grow, additional videos and stories will be added to preserve this history with dignity, purpose, and impact.
